gpascott welcome to the forum. I was just kidding in my post above (well sorta, but I would buy it). That is truly an awesome truck. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Please share more pics, and details with us.

I promise I wouldn't cut the dash out for a new style radio. The rear frame rails would be in trouble though

Thanks for the great welcome to this board and all the nice comments. I'm including some other pics (one with each post since I don't know how to send multiple pictures in one post). This is a great board, because there is nothing like a Chevy or GMC pickup ----especially '67 to '72.
I spent 35 years in a GM stamping plant in Indianapolis where most major body parts were stamped for all Chevy and GMC pickups. When I retired I found this truck. It was an Alabama truck restored in 1989 in Illinois and was trailered for 5 years before I bought it. I drive it! (selectively) I have driven it from Indiana to Carlisle, PA and Pigeon Forge, TN to national Chevy/GMC truck shows. My only regret was the original 327 was removed in favor of a 1972 350 engine. The 350 is great, but I still wish it had the original 327. When I bought it I didn't ask about the engine. I assumed it was a 327 because it had the little 327/flags emblem below the marker lights (not OEM). The truck has won many awards at car shows in Indiana and Illinois. My wife and I have gotten a lot of enjoyment from it.

Welcome to the board from SW Washington State.

That's one clean truck.

Nothing to be ashamed of in a stock truck, especially of that degree.

What kind of Tonneau Cover is that?

Is it a hard tonneau?

Thanks Blue Beard!

The guy who restored the truck made the tonneau cover. It has a wooden frame and is covered with foam rubber and grained black vinyl. It has been truly amazing, because it has been on the truck for 14 years and still looks great. I just give it a coat of armorall once in awhile. We keep it on because the bed is the only place we have to carry chairs, cleaning supplies, etc. when we go to car shows.
