Plug ?
I pulled my radiator and was cleaning up and found this plug on the core support. (along with other misc hardware from 45 yrs of maintenance.) Do any of you all know what it would be from? It's 5/8" diameter.

Looks like a sight plug off the float bowl of a Holley carb (depending on the size).

That screws into the cooler where the transmission lines go. those were to block off the cooler for trucks with a manual transmission. that way the same part number radiator could cover more applications. Jim

You guys amaze me. Just a wealth of history and knowledge. Thanks. I wonder how many years that plug has sat there on the bottom rail of the core support. Very cool.
