what axle do I have? 1970 C30

I am not sure what rear axle I have in my 1970 C30. It is a cab and chassis with a 157 wb. 410 gears the gvw plate says 7200#. dual wheels 8 lug nuts and 8 smaller bolts on the hub. I will post some pictures when I get to a computer. thanks

Same on GMC. They are referred to as Corporate rears or non-Dana in GM parts books. That is the tallest gear you can have with these rears.

That's it alright. And you have 7/16" studs with flat back lug nuts like castle nuts. When the trucks got disc brakes in '71 the studs went to 9/16" and spreader rings with tapered holes were utilized to accept chamfered lug nuts
