1970 c30 longhorn suspension

Hey everybody, I have a 1970 chevy c30 longhorn. The front independent suspension is wider than the straight axle in the back. I want to lower the whole truck but the front wheels are so far out that they would rub the fenders if I did. All of the wheels are the same size. I want the front wheels to be aligned with the rear wheels. Drum brakes all around. Any suggestions/solutions?

Re: 1970 c30 longhorn suspension

You will be limited in how far you can lower it due to the drums. You can get new rims with more offset or backspacing to pull your wheels in closer. Without spending a bit of money and switching your suspension a bit you dont have many other options.

We make narrowed control arms for the C30 application. Might be something to look into.

We offer a 1" narrowed from stock arm. Feel free to shoot us an email if you would like some more information. sales@pbfab.com
