700r4 to 205 adapter

Is Advance Adapters the only ones that make the 700r4 to 205 adapter?
Was this ever done in any Chevy applications so this adapter may be found in a junk yard?
Are any of the other transfer cases the same bolt pattern as the 205? I once heard that all of the 200 series transfer cases had the same bolt pattern.

Looking for a cheaper solution to the whole conversion.

Also - do any of the 700r4 output shafts work with the 205? I have one from a 4x4 but I haven't torn into it all to see if it will work.

I have seen it done one other way. It involves machining the end off the original 2WD tailshaft of the 700R4 to where the dimension from the tailhousing face to end of shaft is the same as it is on the 4WD t350. The t350/NP205 adapter will bolt to the 700R4.
