What gearsets did those trucks commonly come with? 3.73 is pretty common on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks these days.

I would guess you could option whatever you wanted when buying it. Unless the axles just weren't available with that range?

I have a bigger problem with his BIN price and this:
This is a very rare, numbers matching collectible that is getting harder and harder to find.
No interior pictures, crusty, bent rear bumper, etc.
Hope he sells it though; that would just means that the values of these years trucks is going through the roof... right?

Mine is 4.56:1.

Just curious, Do those hub caps actually fit and cover a full float rear hub?

My truck has hub caps over the full floater cap

, that one of the POs put on. Once I get it home I hope I can borrow a buddys lift and pull them off. I'll probably end up rotating the tires to. If not they will stay on for a while. Someone putting center caps on a full floater defeats the hole concept of have the full floaters in the first place

. if it didn't have a center cap you could undo the bolts for the cover and slide out the busted axle and slide in a new axle, you would not even have to pull the tire. They will end up sitting on a shelf in my garage after I rotate tires.

I agree, thats a little high for a truck like that but it is a very good looking truck.

I hate 81-82s one of the POs put a bumper off of one on my truck

. Its coming off as soon as I decide if I want a stock 83 bumper or a winch bumper.
