FINALLY finished the rework of my dash!

Geez, it's ridiculous to think that I started reworking the dash on 8-2007, and I'm just now finishing it up!?!? Working on my 70 K10 not long ago finally lit another fire to get working on my 68.

So, after working on the 70 a little more on Saturday (had to replace the pass side window regulator), I finally got around to finishing the dash. I still need to make a new door since I screwed this one up trying to ball mill the grooves in it, but I can do that at anytime.

Here are a couple pics, the rest are in build thread (link below).

Progress baby!

It is from Hot Rod Air. I don't think it is in their catalog yet. It is just the billet piece, I didn't order the switches. Just wanted the panel to get the dash laid out.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Yeah Andy, I wished there would have been more time and that we would have been closer to my house!

Glad to see you working on it some, and the strange thing is, this is NOT the time of year for you to be doing anything on it!

I like the his and hers cupholders.

Hahaha, I know, it's not natural! But, in defense, there isn't enough snow up there yet! I'm hoping to actually do a little work on it here and there. The kids are getting old enough that they can either hang in the shop with me, or go outside an ride their ATV's, or whatever. So, unless we are going riding, my weekends are looking better. (BTW, thanks for your services last week!)

Thanks again for the compliments guys! When I decided to chop out everything resembling the original dash an go this route, I figured there would be more than a few who would but so far so good!

Summit Racing catalog.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! I ordered the billet piece from Summit, they had the best price for that piece. The gauges are Dolphin.
