72 C10 factory bed options???
Does anyone know the factory bed options for a 1972 C10 stepside? I've read the wood bed was an option, and I've also seen a metal bed was an option. Which one is correct? I have a metal bed in my 72 stepside and want to know if it's factory or not. |

Re: 72 C10 factory bed options???
No option with Stepside (Chevy) or Fenderside (GMC). There was a wood floor option for Fleetsides (Chevy) and Widesides (GMC),with the steel floor as standard. '67 was the first year for steel floor.
Let us see pictures of how your floor was done. I built pro street '70 Stepside I tubbed using Fleetside wheel houses and steel floor 20 some years ago. You don't see that done too often. I did mine to look factory. Sure...a factory 1970 Pro-Street truck. You could get anything back then
