Just bought her 82 C10 Low and shaved.

Hey guys. Does it usually take a week to get forum approval?

I just picked up this 82 c10 shortbed. It has a 383 stroker with a 700r tranny, headers, dual dumped flowmaster exhaust, small cam, 4 barrel carb which says weber on it, moroso oil pan, msd cables, edelbrock performer manifold, accel supercoil. It has 20x8 in front and 20x10 steelies, red oxide flat paint, c-notched rear, belltech street performance shocks.

The issues I see so far the balancer seems to wobble. There is an oil leak maybe from the front seal or timing cover. The battery light comes on when I start her but if I give her gas the light goes out. The alternator pulley does not seem to be aligned with the other ones. It needs new v belts. Can you guys tell me how many belts does it use? and which ones do i need? It has A/C, PS.

She runs awesome and its really clean with barely any rust. Glad to have joined this huge forum.

Nice looking ride....but if you parked it on the sidewalk like that around here, you would have a dozen guys trying to buy it from you. It's like a universal sign meaning For Sale.

Cool truck! Can you give us any details on the wheels? They look like Dodge spares. Where did you get the 10in and did you use adapters?

Re: Just bought her 82 C10 Low and shaved.

The stance is real nice. I have that same leak on my 82, I think it is the timing cover or crank/balancer seal. I live with it for now. I've taking a liking to those wheels like that.

That truck is badass. It looks like somebody knew what they were doing when they built it.

Re: Just bought her 82 C10 Low and shaved.

The paint is different I like a lot.. Tires off the top of my head are 255 up front and 275 rear, wish they were wider out back but at least they are new.

Are you sure it needs a balancer? 400's are externally balanced and those cranks are used to build strokers more often than destroking a 400. Externally balanced balancers have a sunken portion or a notched balancer that may make it look like it wobbles when running.
Nice build . Looks like you bought a nice truck.
