Power drum brakes???
I have a 67 C10 4x4 stepside. It has manual drum brakes. I'd like to upgrade to discs but don't have the cash right now. Can I run a power booster to the drums for a little help stopping? This thing doesn't like to slow down!

best $$ you can spend on your truck...trust me !! it takes about an hour and a used one from the board will run you about $60 with the brackets and all ........it up graded my old drums so much that now I'm in no rush to do my disc/drop swap

I upgraded my White '67 and I didn't even have to unhook the brake lines... Nice improvement. LockDoc

Just go easy bending the steel lines to the MC and it will be easy. TIP - unbolt the MC before trying to remove the linkage bolt from the brake pedal - it will drop it down so it will clear the steering column, otherwise, you will have to drop the column.

Shipping can be prohibitive over any distance since they are fairly heavy if a complete unit. I was going to buy one on the forum, but the $40 unit was going to cost $60 to ship. Ended up finding one locally instead.
