Couple of places make them. The are about half the cost of steel.

Re: fiberglass fenders for a 51

I seen the fenders on ebay awhile back and they looked good but I didnt know if they will fit as good as steel. The fenders I have are bad rotted and would rather replace than rebuild.

I can do the body work but i was trying to save alittle time bacause Im starting on a 65 mustang also and also tryin to save alittle money with the fiderglass fenders on the 51.

I did the same thing when building my chevelle bought fiberglass because of the price. I ended up haveing bedliner sprayed on the inside because of the cracking their good for the 1/4 mile but don't seem to be made for a lot of driving.I say Unlimited products cause thats where i got mine from, supposed to be ready to paint but far far from it raw fiber sticking out and didnt fit well.

I know a guy who's running them. I couldn't tell till he told me (seen them in person). Not that it made any difference, they looked stock. He sprayed the underside with bed liner. So, unless you knock on them, you wouldn't know they weren't steel. He bought them a few years ago on Ebay. Hope this helps.

Re: fiberglass fenders for a 51

Not sure how much the fiberglass on ebay is going for but I just found this place
http://www.truckandcarshop.com/ and from him the steel is about the same price as most 'glass that I've found.

That being said, I'd rather have steel than glass on a driver. Even if it's Taiwan metal.

I have no idea if the fenders are pre-drilled. If there not drilled (which might be a good thing to get a better fit to YOUR truck) Have someone hold the fender up to the bed, get under and mark them, drill em, mount em.
