My new WHITE headers!

Since the early 70's, when I used to "read" all the hot rod mags, I've wanted a set of white headers on a car that I own. I scraped together the money to have a pair of the new Heddman big block pipes Jet Coated in white! Now if it'll just stop raining I'll pop them on and check off a box on my list of life goals,

Re: My new WHITE headers!

I do fb (not very well) and can't see it either. You either have to post it as public or friend us all Had white headers on a 57 bel air that lasted about a week... BUT, that was with a fresh can of 1978 VHT, ha. Yours should look nice for a long time to come. Love old white headers too, not sure why, nostalgia I assume. If you could post a pic, that would be great.

Re: My new WHITE headers!

NICE!! I love the "white hot" header look. Full length look awesome when you see them peaking at you through the wheel well. Does anyone remember the Blackjack AK5000 Alumnacoat headers that were white? It was the first hi-temp insulating coating offered on headers 30 or so years ago. It had a "texture" to it and held up extremely well. I ran those on all my stuff in the '80s

My dad has been running white headers on his 55 Chevy for years. We're not old, we are seasoned.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. I had a set of the alumnacoat headers on my second 1970 C-10, 396, chrome valve covers and freshly painted engine. Always liked white headers, they look really good.

Re: My new WHITE headers!

Can they do that coating in Chevy orange on my rams horns?
I like the white but orange rams horns that stay orange might be different.
