Where do I find my paint code(s) ?

Sorry for the stupid question but I honestly don't know where to find the paint code for my truck.

I know from the glovebox sticker it's medium blue and white but when trying to order paint all the sites I've looked at want the 'paint code'

Not sure what you want to know..so hows this, for a 1971 Chev truck..here's all I can give.

Your truck in the avatar is what is called deluxe two tone package....medium blue with white roof and white in middle of body... it's code on the glove box should be 481.

The white is known as 521 in the Chev paint schemes...with a Ditzler paint number of 2185, Dupont number is 817-l and Rinshed Mason number is A-1347

The medium blue is known as Chev number 510...Dupont paint number 5183-L, Rinshed Mason paint number of A-2253, Ditzler paint number 2188.

When you put those two colors together in a two tone deluxe paint package its called Chev paint code number 481.....

That about answers it totally...print it out and go shopping
