2WD Blazer Value
I've got a chance to get my hands on a bone stock 1972 2WD Blazer. It's bone stock other than the dual exhaust and the wheels. The body is flawless! It really needs nothing. Is it worth $16,000??? I was thinking in that 10-12K range. It's got the buckets, PS and PB. No AC. Small block and an automatic.

I've got more than that in my 2 wd (from SD) and it probably isn't that nice, but I chose to build my own and it's always cheaper to buy than to build.

Well, I've seen really clean legit 2wds sell for 20K-24K...but as with any "hot rod"...it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Just so you know though, once mine is complete, I'd laugh at anyone offering me 12K...

If it is as good as you say then it is not overpriced, Check and decode the VIN carefully to make sure it was a legit 2wd Blazer not a conversion. Compare the partial frame VIN to the truck's VIN to see if it is a match. Six cylinder 2 wheel drive Blazers may have been more common than an 8 and your VIN will tell you how it was born, At the Carlisle Truck Nationals last summer, a very nicely Stock type restored 2 wheel drive sold for $27,500. It was originally a base 6 cylinder that had a big block put in it (never available). It was a nice truck but the classic car dealer selling it didn't know what was real and what wasn't. None the less, it sold the first day.

It's worth it if it is in as good a shape as you say. If I was going to spend that much money on one I would go over it with a fine tooth comb.
