truckdude239- I just got an email last week from Skip White. He told me he is coming out with ceramic headers specifically for our trucks soon. He has nice stuff for nice prices. My dad needs a distributor and that one looks like it should be fine for his truck. Think I'll get one today!

Re: Anybody buy one of these HEI distributors off ebay?

Are the headers full length? I have seen 67-72 full length ones on there a few weeks ago. I have bought a few things from him and all have been great.

I need a mid length.

Re: Anybody buy one of these HEI distributors off ebay?

fyi, i got an email from truckdude's hei source. his product is made in Australia for Wysco. On wysco's website, they only talk about a 50,000 volt model (not the 65k volt model on the ebay post), but maybe i'm missing something. The seller of the Procomp model in C10crazy's post makes some pretty strong claims that there is no such thing as a 65k volt hei such as the one whiteperformance sells. don't know what to make of the battling claims.

for some reason, though, i tend to trust the product and posting from whiteperformance more than the other. my 2 cents.

72army - i emailed skip white from ebay with the questions "where is it made?" and "how does this product hold up?" and he replied: Australia, by Wysco, and great, if any problems within three years we will replace.

Re: Anybody buy one of these HEI distributors off ebay?

Bought a Mini High Torque starter from SkipWhite. Installed it and it was as dead as the one i was replacing.... Called them on a sunday cuz i was pissed, skip white answered the phone, he appologized over and over and sent me a new and different mini and enclosed a check for a refund and never asked for the bad starter to be shipped back. A real stand up guy and would def buy from him again, i like his prices too. BUT The guys behind the counter who answer the phone for tech advice are not too enthused about answering questions and sound half asleep or stoned.

Re: Anybody buy one of these HEI distributors off ebay?

Have one on my truck, and it works great. Really woke up from the stock HEI that was on it. Dropped it right in, and had no trouble with it. I bought mine from a local speed shop for $100.

I don't see how you can go wrong for that price. Heck the MSD Ready to Run is in the high 200's. This one is probably just as good. I'd try it if I was in the market but I already put in the MSD because I did not know about these. But I added this guy to my favorite sellers and may pick up one of his mini high torque starters.
