Textured look
I want a flat black textured look to my truck. A friend did his entire truck with Herculiner but that was too rough for me. I tested 3M undercoating on some spare sheet metal and I really like that look. My concern is longevity and truck value. Opinions on this please.

For longevity and truck value... just a good paint job in a factory color would prolly be the best.
I've seen a few 4x4 cats that have done the Herculiner/Rhinoliner/Line-X to the exterior of trucks... looks a little silly, and adds weight to the vehicle. Unless it's some sort of hardcore trail rig... Gary

Have you heard of plasti dipping an entire car/ truck? There is a website on it. I think it's called dipyourcar.com or something like that. Good thing is it can be undone.
