Exclamation Pic Request - Blazer Skid Plate

Hey guys, now that I own one of these things, where does it go, I know this sounds stupid, but a picture is
worth a thousand words, and please give them to me as detailed as possible, if they are to large to post you

i dont have a pic,but i am pretty sure it goes behind the tranny x member,and the extended part of that piece w/ the 4 holes,bolts to the tranny x member,it should fit in there like a glove

Well, from what I can tell, there are no holes in my frame for that second
crossmember, not that it is a big deal to put holes in it, that is the mainly
the reason I asked, so I get the holes put in the right place for the install.

here is a crappy pic I just took of the passengers side skid plate in my 68 GMC with a t350/205...sorry bout the blurr it just started to rain and I took it in a hurry..

Ahh so that is what that piece is for, lucky i didnt throw it out last year when i couldnt figure out what the heck it was. Does anyone know if there is anything special about the second crossmember or is it the same as the first or what?

The second x-member is the same. You are missing the upper frame mounts. The piece you have only bolts to the lower part of the frame. THere are two other pices that bolt to the top of the frame then down to the x-member.

Thanks guys, so if I bolt up the plate to the front crossmember I already
have, I should just be able to line up the second member from that point
and create a few holes for it, right? Or is there more to it than that?
