Pictures from Nats

Got back from the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Ky yesterday and am posting some pics of the multitude of 67/72 trucks I saw there. There's no way I got them all as there were 10000 vehicles registered there. 1st pic is mine with the "crew" I went with and the rest are me just wandering the grounds and snapping pics when I saw one. Enjoy

Re: Pictures from Nats

You are right, RodnRudy, it was a great show and lots of trucks. I have a few pics of some more, but I don't want to post them on your thread unless it is ok with you. Met a couple of members while we were there. Always a great show.

Nice trip I assume. Wish I were there, but 10,000 is a long weekend of walking and walking and walking...

tutone, I have no problem with you posting your pics on this thread, in fact if any one else has some post away. I know I had to miss a bunch of these trucks.

Cool, I more or less took pics of swb trucks so here is a few. You and I took a lot of shots of the same trucks. Forgive me if I duplicate one of yours by accident.

Re: Pictures from Nats

This was one of the sharpest trucks I saw all day, and it was parked in a yard near my truck.

Re: Pictures from Nats

thanx for the pictures, I have been going to the Nats for years, but my health wouldn't allow it this year so I greatly appreciate your pictures. For those wanting to attend , it's a great park and the indoor building is massive and very well air conditioned. thanx again.

Re: Pictures from Nats

I know that RodnRudy already posted a picture of this truck, but it was my favorite, since I love original trucks.......1967, 6 cyl, 3OTT, no power anything, no radio, around 5000 original miles. It was for sale, no price posted.

Yeah, I drooled over that truck before I snapped the pic. I couldn't believe how clean it was.

Lots of C10's present at the show. I was there, but hung out at the autocross all day on Friday and Saturday.

Re: Pictures from Nats

10,000 vehicles at one show. Man! What kind of room does it take to spread out that many vehicles in one place. I attended some NSRA events many years ago and thought 3,000 was a lot to see in one day.

Re: Pictures from Nats

Wish I had an over head shot of the Ky Exposition Center. There's plenty of room for that many vehicles and the indoor air conditioned building can hold a ton of vendors. It's worth the trip every year. And get this for you guys that don't know, the NSRA gives away a turn key hot rod every year. All you have to do is be a registered participant with your vehicle on the grounds and have proof of ownership. This years winner drove off with a 34 Ford three window fenderless coupe.
