Parts truck opinions??
This past weekend I purchased a parts truck that I knew I wanted to get a few things off of that would save me some money in the end. Well, when I got there it was much rougher than described or I had in my head. Most of te sheet metal is shot, as in rusted through. But the frame and trailing arms are still good except for the small crossmember in the rear I still ended up picking it up.
Before I continue, let me first stress that I am not trying to sell parts at this point if I even do part out to the public. Mods and everyone, I hope that this makes sense as if I were to part the truck out completely I would be a full paying member of this forum. The problem is, I am unsure if I want to sell the truck somewhat complete on craigslist or try my luck at parting it out? I will be keeping the hood, grille, cowl, lower markers, most glass, and I have already taken the interior parts that I care about...that is if I do a complete part out. In the end, I need the truck gone and can't have it hanging around. Here are a few pics to get a better idea of what I am dealing with. Thanks all for your input!

Re: Parts truck opinions??
I believe this is a 72 since there are the screw holes for the vent mirrors in the doors. Highly doubt the doors were ever changed. Thought the truck was a bit different with the medium green interior

Re: Parts truck opinions??
No kidding? I might try listing first on craigslist in a few weeks and see how it goes. Maybe if that doesn't work out I will part out more and scrap the rest.
