20x10 front wheels - stepside

What's going on fellas. Just logging in and getting ready to start my rebuild. Have 73 chevy stepside and I am working on rebuild from ground up. I am getting all the details on paper for the parts and wanted to ask a question on the wheels. I will be doing a 3/5 DJM drop on it and changing out to disc brakes on all 4. I was thinking about running 20x10 up front and a 20x12 on rear. Anyone have this? I been browsing on forum for hours and it seems everyone is doing the 20x8.5 front and 20x10 on rear. Will the big fenders of stepside hold the 20x12 on the rear? Also, does the 20x10 come out to wide on the front fender?

I use to run 15x10 all around it back in the late 80's. Different set up back then, but has anyone tried the 20x10 on front and 20x12 on rear? I like that thick meaty look. Don't want anything sticking out on the front, but I like it thick and tight in the front too.. not sunk in too much on the front fender. Just my taste.
