no clue

Hey guys, i have question that been bugging me for a wile, see anybody could help me out. when putting an engine in your truck do you set it up your truck spec, or to the year of the engine??? I have 72 crewcad pickup that i am dropping a 454 out of 82 pick up

If you're talking about tune ups, etc.; I'd tune it to, 82 specs, it they're different.

i ment the spark pug gag, timing and etc.. the spec from my 73 pickup are different from the engine that came out of the 82 pickup. should i tune it the year of my truck or to the year of the engine. sory its a 73 not a 72
