WTB 9' or 8' stepside bed
I am looking for the needle in the haystack...a 9' bed for my 1964 dually. I would also settle for an 8' bed that I can then lengthen. My 64 GMC 1 ton is 133" WB, so I think the 9' bed would be best. Let me know if you have one or your cousins friends dad has one or knows of one. I want it for this truck...

Sorry to get your hopes up, but hey, if you were looking for a 4000 mile road trip (and negotiating a closed border) here's one kind of local to me. They are asking about $400 US. And its a trailer - easy to move.

Re: WTB 9' or 8' stepside bed
Upon further look...the last picture shows a tape measure at 7' 8" or 92 inches...my other LWB bed is 100" long. I think it is a short bed...?

Yeah, not sure about the length - I thought the steps looked like a long bed. I will shoot them a message to see if still available. It randomly came up on my FB feed in the past day or two.

Re: WTB 9' or 8' stepside bed
I did...and he said it came off a 1957 truck...and the bed was 92" outside length...so must have been modified by someone...I measured the bed on my other truck (LWB) and it is 100" outside length.
It was weird as soon as my wife messaged him, he posted it as sold...strange. Seemed like a nice guy. Thanks for looking for me...the search continues. |

Re: WTB 9' or 8' stepside bed
Found a 9 foot bed today! Bought it...picking it up in a few weeks! I am stoked!! Will need some work, but in overall good condition and the price couldn't be beat! Thanks to Christian for finding it for me!
