1941 clutch
i have a customers 1941 chevy 3/4 ton long bed in the shop for an engine. i figured since i was doing that i might as well replace the clutch. easier said than done, this one has a 11 inch disc & pressure plate, every one i looked up was wrong when it got here. it is very odd with a 9 bolt pressure plate, 10 spline disc. i lucked out with the pressure plate, there is a local guy that has been buying out old stock from dealerships and he had the one i needed. so that left the disc, the only place that listed it was chevs of the 40s and they wanted $250 for a rebuilt one. i decided to research by dimensions and i found a new LUK disc from napa that was almost exact. the part# is nd4187 fits a bunch of Jeep things and is less than $100 for a brand new disc. I hope this helps someone that is looking for this.

Re: 1941 clutch
it is a diaphragm clutch but uses 9 bolts to hold it to the flywheel instead of the usual 6

Re: 1941 clutch
Gotcha ;
It's usually slightly larger, the light trucks and commercial vehicles had a slightly larger diameter .
