Re: if you could go back to 67-72..

I did several of these early Trans Ams before I got off into C/10s. Still have a few too.

That being said, I'd probably order a twin to my '72 Step side with a/c and a big block!

Re: if you could go back to 67-72..

Money is no option huh? I would take one of every year all loaded then. Color doesn't matter except the 50th. And a garage/shop to fit em all so the wouldnt rot away....

Cool Re: if you could go back to 67-72..

Hmm if I could walk into (the now long closed) Shaner Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Geneva, Nebraska I would order a 1969 Custom Camper 10 two tone blue and white a/c? why? I'm strapped for cash and why? real trucks don't have a/c in my eyes tach gauges auto tranny sure why not would you like bucket seats or power steering? no thanks but I would like power brakes I would have a 67 Bel Air station wagon with power brakes and I love the stopping power and it's safer too. radio? who needs a radio lol 8 cylinders with 350 cubic inches would be my radio lol it would also be equipped with hockey puck style cab lights with the raised bumps on the cab

or a 1968 Chevrolet K20 panel wagon with buddy buckets a/c am radio 8 track player (if it was available) shoulder belts power steering power brakes spotlights factory grill guard 427 with a 4 speed manual in gold and white

or a 1970 Chevrolet C/60 Marmon Harrington 427 special order, small window cab, pickup bucket seats with console ,shoulder belts, tachometer with vacuum ,factory cb radio, am radio, a/c ,power brakes, manual steering, raised bumps on the cab with hockey puck lights, spotlights grill guard, window visors, compass, with after the sale CST emblems and trim in two tone grapefruit yellow and white

Now you're talking!! I'd love to have a 72 Chevy C/90 10 wheel dump truck with a 671 Detroit and a 10 speed road ranger. Dark green with a white roof and a green dump body. Just to play around with of course.

As for a pickup, I'd order exactly what I'm building my truck to be.

1972
K10
SWB
Custom Deluxe
350
SM465
NP205
Wood bed floor
dark olive/white 2 tone
Green Highlander plaid package
Tow hooks, bumper guards, rear slider and AM/FM

Would have driven off the lot for around $4,000. Damn.

X2

Fleetside with am/fm ps pb cruise bucket seats and shoulder belts. Dealer installed air shocks with onboard air compressor and under dash control. Aftermarket 15x8 slot mags. I will build this truck one day! I have the donor but its a 71. Close enough

Not sure if i would have ordered the 3.73 gear new, though. Depends if it was just around town or highways to work. I have 3.73's in my 72 now, but also have a 700r4 od.

Re: if you could go back to 67-72..

Something rare like:

1970 K20 CST 350 auto, wood floor, AC, cab lights, black with saddle buckets or dk blue with black buckets.

or

1968 C30 CST 396 Longhorn 50th with buddy buckets and AC. That would be incredible
