Heck yes drive it and never look back!*

* That could be taken as a jab at those mirrors, but I honestly didn't mean it that way. Nope, I'm not saying they are crappy. I couldn't do that. Not here because we don't make such comments about other trucks. I wouldn't tell anyone what to do either. Not even if they asked "What to do?". Just wanted to keep that clear, ok?

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

When I went to look at it the seller told me he was told everything was there. The back seat was in pieces in the back , some moldings had been removed from one side and were also in there. The inner door panels had been removed and were in the back as well, some poor repairs have been made to the considerably descent body. {these pictures are after I inventoried the contents of the back, took out two spare tires seat pieces , a box of parts and a box of trash , some body moldings and vacuumed out alot of debris}

I do have a set of mirrors that look more like stock . There is a spot to mount them already.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

Well I've replaced the master cylinder , rebuilt the carb and installed an air cleaner that can breathe, replaced the dimmer switch. I replaced the front seat slip covers and put the back seat together and put on a cover. I've installed some turn outs on the exhaust and replaced the rear tire and wheels with some newer rollers. (less weather checking)

Man am I jealous!
I wish my firewall looked as good as yours! Curse my PO and his rattle can paint over dirt restoration.
Your rubber mats look to be in great shape too!
There's a lot to love and its 503 green too!.

I'm happy the PO did nothing inside the engine or the interior. I wish he had not tried to attempt body work and touching up the paint . The mats are conveyor belt I think, just cut to fit. The 503 green is a cool color. I think I'm going to like it.

I think you need to keep finding those trucks and flip them to us! I live in the east coast rust belt.

Selling my '67 stepside is bittersweet. In September would have been 24 yrs. since I bought it.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

I’m unclear on that front seat. Is that a suburban only item or is that a combination of parts?
I like it, just haven’t seen one like it.
Thanks

Thanks HO- I guess the console just didn’t look familiar to me.
The only ‘burbs I’ve seen with buckets were obvious swaps

Mine are two tone green vinyl just like the picture Hart Rod posted in #8 of that thread. Except mine has a full bench second seat and no third seat.

Man, what a score on this thing! Congrats. It's way more solid than ours and I think that's the first one I've seen with buddy buckets still in it. Awesome!
