It never fails - when I start spending money on my truck, more things crop up which of course, takes more money! Just got new tires, rebuilt front driveshaft, cab supports & mounts (not installed yet), and some other minor items. Now my radiator is leaking! Of course, I just changed coolant...

Not sure how many rows my original radiator is, but the core is about 2" thick - auto trans & factory air. I'm looking for a 3-row or 4-row replacement (my old one has been rebuilt at least twice, and the last time, several years ago, I was told it probably wouldn't hold). Been shopping the vendors on this board. Care to share your radiator experiences, good or bad - including price and quality - with our vendors or other sources?

when it rains it pours ha? where do you live? i got mine with a lifetime warr for $160 but alot of folks have good used ones on here, good luck, eric.

its not worth messing with a used radiator they are too important. new ones can be had online for anywhere between 150-200 bucks all the time

if you want alum radiator i got mine from summit(SUM-380331). $188.40 with shipping

Is it like 4 row and does it fit with the stock 4 row brackets?

it is a wide 2 core. i didnt have 4 core brackets so i couldnt tell ya, but my 2 core brackets almost fit after i grinded on them. if you look at the picture above you can kinda see what i fabbed up.

Thanks for all the replies! I'll stay with copper/brass so it can be more easily repaired if necessary. And with a 350, auto trans, and A/C (okay, non-functional for now), I'll get a 4-row. Radiator.com (thanks, Tx) wants $228 delivered, and I found some places that are cheaper. Athey's at $205 and Autozone online at $192, both delivered prices. LMC and Kragen are both a few bucks less than Radiator.com. Now I'm really wondering about quality - are they all the same, or?? Decisions, decisions...

If you go to radiator.com website, the radiators are expensive. But, I buy mine from them, through ebay, much cheaper.

CLICK HERE for a radiator.com auction on ebay for the 67-72 truck radiator. Buy it now price is 138 bucks. If you click on their ebay store button on the auction, you'll find it's radiator.com.

That's how I get mine delivered next day air for 150 bucks total.

They are Modine brand radiators, which are good name brand quality.

Just called Radiator.com and they are not Modine radiators...a woman named Lisa there told me they are Visteon or Vistion brand.

Thanks to all, including a couple PMs... This board is great!

This morning before work, I ordered a 4-row all-metal unit from Radiator.com, with heater hose nipple and A/T plumbing. Lifetime warranty and they say it'll fit exactly as original for $199 delivered. Got my fingers crossed, and I'll post after I install it (hopefully this weekend). You'll know if I'm happy or not, and why.
