Trying to find the correct big block parts

I'm trying to piece together a '68 big block. Can anyone help me with pics or possibly even part numbers for the following parts:

-Exhaust manifolds
-Cooling fan blade
-Air cleaner
-Quadrajet carburetor

Thanks!

You should probably post in the parts forums, better chance of catching one of the people with the parts.

I tried to create a post in there but it said I don't have permission. Is there something I need to do first?

Nevermind, I see that I have to be a Premium Member to create a thread in the Classified sections.

Go here, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=5781194 and download the 1968 manuals. Then, look for part numbers corresponding to what you want.

The carb is a Rochester 4MV part number 7028211, which is specific to the 396. That'll get you started.

Re: Trying to find the correct big block parts

I saw where the service manual says the correct part number is 7028211, however I have found two sources that say the correct number is 7028217.

I have located a 7028217 EG, the guy says it's the original carburetor off of his '68 Chevelle 396/325 hp with a 4 speed.

The books I have seen that show the 7028217 to be correct for the '68 396 truck lists this number and does not specify standard/automatic transmission.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm wanting to pull the trigger on buying the 7028217 if it is correct.
