Ok I'm looking g into going steel wheels and tall skinny tires. What is the tallest tire I can run and still fit my fender side spare tire carrier.

235/75R15 fits pretty tight onmine

235/75R15 specs at 27.11" overall diameter.

Tallest optional tire originally was a 7-17.5, which had an approximate overall diameter of 31.75". I've never seen mention of a 7-17.5" spare tire restriction.
