Cracked manifold--thime for headers?

I could use some suggestions for headers. Got a '70 350 stepper. Is tri-y the weapon of choice?

What exhaust manifold do you need? I have a passenger side if you want it for 40.00 shipped.

My truck came with headman headers, fit nice. Only thing I would have done differently is I would have bought them ceramic coated as they will last longer as well as they look better.
IMO dont go cheap on headers.

Are you making enough power to justify the extra pain of headers? Unless you are making a lot of power, I'd go back with a manifold. If you do get headers, as said before do not go cheap. First set I ever owned cost $56 in 1984 from Summit. They lost paint at the first startup and within a month were leaking and rusty. A year later we put the manifolds back on and it was much nicer. My dad tried to tell me, but I wouldn't listen.

depends where manifold is cracked// there r some temp halfass repairs that will hold up quite well for a number of years for a little to no cost solution

Agree. Headers are a waste of time & money unless your engine can make proper use of them. Good used manifolds are easy to find.
