$175 Fake Blower on Ebay

How much stupider can this stuff get?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2463481666

"OK, Lets face it, COOL is the name of the game today! And whats cooler than a Supercharged engine? Right!, Nothing. Our scoop gives your vehicle that fully blown supercharged look without the 8K Price$$ Sure it would be nice to have a real one. But hey! we are not all RICH ya know! Plus when all those guys with real ones are stopping at every gas station on the strip, You'll be cruzing! with that same sharp look they have. Also you dont have to damage your hood drilling holes, because our scoop mounts with double sided 3M tape. You've got groundeffects, You've got the wing! Now! take the next step with the POWER SCOOP! We are proud to offer this fantastic new product!"

It might be a funny joke for $10, but $175?

Next to the big hood scoops and rear wings some of the stock imports where I live that has got to be the biggest waste of money I have ever seen. And not to mention the fact that all it will do is make more wind resistance. A real blower is better anyday.

Apparently not, since I don't know what a GD board is...

Oh, looking at the list at the top of the page I see "General Discussion" listed. That must be what you are talking about.

ten bucks would be a good price. for a plastic blower... Back in high school a buddy of mine painted a black square in the middle of the hood of his Chevelle.Than bolted a 4 bbl carb and chrome air cleaner..to the HOOD !! Actually, it looked kind of cool. But than again, I was 16 years old..

That thing seems to be a hazard. Imagine some DB having that taped onto is car in front of you and it flying off!

i actually think it is kinda cool. definatley not something i would pay $175 for, maybe $20. i think it would be hilarious to put on some junk car. maybe an old honda with a coffee can for an exhaust tip and a cardboard wing and bodykit.

Just picturing it flying of the hood of a Honda at 55 m.p.h. and hitting the trooper or city cop behind him is hilarious!

it doesnt suprise me that they make somthing like this, what suprises me is there are actually people out there that will buy this junk.....im not into hood scoops either, unless you have something under other than a stock motor...im not into imports, unless its the toyata mr2 first an second generation, my old one show 240,000 miles on the odometer an would run 140 all day long....not that i actually went that fast, not me never ...

Even mounted that way from a distance will make some people think....especially ones that don't know anything about cars...

That has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen....of course some idiot would think it was cool and use mommy and daddy's money to buy it.

Seriously, I was laughing for 30 minutes when I first saw this. I'll be out on the look-out for these on cars...
