For those of you who have bucket seats, where did you buy them and are you happy with the product. I like Corbeau seats http://www.corbeau.com/products/reclining_seats/ but they are rather pricey. I am leaning toward buckets but I would like to hear from all of you.

67 Buddy Buckets

I bought a set of $50.00 dollar swap meet specials.I think they came from a Mitsibishi.I built some brackets to install them in the factory mounting holes.The drivers is power and works well.They are much more comfortable then the originals were but are high backs(they're ok in a panel but look out of place in a truck IMHO).I do like the look of the originals better and may modify/rebuild them(the orig drivers side had 2X4's and plywood for springs{po fix})

If you like the low back look you might want to consider Scat Procar series. I installed a set in my '65 and IMHO they look more period correct (old school) than most of the other seats on the market. They are available through Summit Racing.

Mine cost $2400 and the rest of the truck came with the buckets.

I bought BMW 3 series leather buckets out of a wrecked Beemer. Fit nicely with the LMC repro center console in the middle. A bit spendy at $275...but the leather is absolutely perfect, and it has so many positions I could start doing pelvic exams/pap smear tests and make my money back. hahahaha

Would attach images, but fabricator has them and is making short risers for them and "beefing up" area of floorboard where they attach. I figured it'd cost more than I paid to get seats that were worn/torn and cover them (I wanted leather).

I may go this route as well. I'm looking for some 300 series Mercedes seats though. I know they're comfortable for loooong rides.

OTOH, the idea of a 3 point seatbelt integrated with the Silverado seats sounds like a great idea.

I prefer the low back look in the truck, and those ProCar seats look great, but I'm also concerned about having the head rest to prevent whiplash. Just in case you know.

My K20 had Astro van buckets when I got it. Pretty comfortable, but I prefer the stock look so I restored a set of buddy buckets and put them in. In the end I decided I would actually prefer a bench. So now I have a bench in there with a cheap auto parts store cover on it. Ill redo it stock in the spring when its warmer out and lay it all out in the sun to put it together.

O Yeahhhhh the only way to fly in a 67-68!

But the BIG but, your looking at $700-$1200 for a set completely restored.
A Rufff shape complete set runs $300~$600
