Wish me luck
I believe a few years back i posted a thread about a local blazer i know of that has sat since i was about 10 years old. Many times i stopped and asked and had the door slammed in my face. So today i just happened to stop and the owner of the home came driving up his driveway to leave. I asked him about the blazer and he said come see him monday. Woohoo....i don't know what to expect but i am 38 years old and have watched this blazer forever sit in the same spot and never move. Wish me luck and hope i can afford it. I've got to many projects going now but hate to see this blazer continue to rot away. I attached a pic i took last year.

Re: Wish me luck
Could be fun. Anything sitting that long has for a reason, usually not good. But then....

Re: Wish me luck
Hopefully you can get it bought! Sitting like that is a shame.

Re: Wish me luck
May have some family history if it has been just sitting for that long. Hopefully you can get your hands on it. Will be looking forward to your update.

Re: Wish me luck
Hey, don't give up. I'm on the other side of that particular fence, and I've got an old car that's sitting, and people ask about it all the time. It's the nice, polite one that's caught my attention.
If he said to keep checking, that means that he's already come around to the idea that it might go to a good home. You just have to be patient and wait for him to let it go. |
