2004r issues.

I just finished up my 2004r swap. I was driving down the road and started to smell tranny fluid burning and the transmission started making a slight grinding/slipping noise. I pulled over immediately and it seems that my AUX transmission cooler line had popped off somehow and fluid was just pouring out. My question is, do you guys think the transmission is fine. Or should I pull it and swap back to my th350 until I can get it rebuilt? I don’t really want to chance the truck breaking down on me if I am farther from home. Thanks.
