ISO: big back window conversion

I'm looking for one of Scott's big back window kits. I haven't been able to get in touch with him to order one. So, I was just looking to see if maybe someone had an unused one sitting around. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I have a BBW cab I can cut one out of, but I'm really looking for someone that might have one of Scott's kits that they haven't used yet.

Re: ISO: big back window conversion

I was in-line for one of the kits (I did get Scott on the telephone about a year ago, he said he had a 2 to 3 year waiting list). Since then, I have scored a BBW cab and removed the inside panel. I am happy It wasn't that bad removing the panel, just tedious, lots of spot welds to drill out.

Thanks for the awesome info, that really helps. I was thinking that the panel from my cab might be a better choice after reading a write up about it. I actually think I could do it too. I'd be tempted if somebody had a kit though.

Re: ISO: big back window conversion

I did a big back window conversion on my 65 the hardest part was the upper seem I used the panel adhesive/epoxy because you cannot get to it to weld it I think it makes a much cleaner looking install and from what I have seen easier than the Kit that I saw which would take a lot of bodywork
