Re: West Coast Jr Mirror

I stick with OEM. I don't care for the "universal mount" mirrors.

Special-K can you tell me why that is? I have a set of OEM (I think they are)but buying this new set well be cheaper then having them re-done. If these do not mount to the doors right I am going to stay away from them.

Re: West Coast Jr Mirror

I like the oem or original factory adds. The problem I have had with the ones you link is that they tend to vibrate badly. The two mounting points allow for "Fold Away" when struck, such as hitting the garage door opening, which is a good thing but then in use the mirrors tend to shake. It may just be a personal thing but I can't stand to get a shaky veiw in my mirrors.

Re: West Coast Jr Mirror

I think they "look" cheap. We buy trucks and cuss the previous owners for mounting cheap aftermarket mirrors, creating more holes. These fall into that category for me. The OEM RV Juniors only have two mounting points...top and bottom/over/under the window. The Senior West coasts have a third support that runs down from the mirror to lower on the door. Those have full-size mirror heads.
