Disc Brake Conversion

Hi, does anyone have any information on using Chevelle type disc rotors as a conversion? I have a 1968 C10 with a 454 and drums all the way around. Looking at changing out the front, again just seeing if anyone has tried it or not. Thanks

Chevelle rotors will require you to run a chevy "car pattern" wheel.
(5x4.75)
I personally would buy a set of 63-70 conversion spindles, and keep the 5x5 pattern or even the original 6-lug pattern.

I see no money savings with this set up other than not having to remove your original drum brake spindle.

After reading that, makes me wonder why couldn't you use rotors from a caprice or cadillac. Any GM fullsize car with the big 5 on 5 lug pattern.

One benefit using the smaller lug pattern. 4.75 is the availability of wheels. Here it seems there are always plenty of used wheels to chose from on Craigslist. If your on a tight budget.
