Re: Tint or no tint???

It might not look the best on all trucks, but it protects the interior and keeps it cooler... Tint for daily drivers!

Re: Tint or no tint???

You beat me to this tread. I was trying to decide the same thing. I see the benefits in tinting them, but on the other hand i've spent a few $$ on the interior so i hate to hide that.

Re: Tint or no tint???

I used to think tint was cool...not so much anymore! seems like everybody has it...really not a fan of tint on the windshield, like two big stupid looking strips of tint across the top and bottom! There's a reason why you dont see it on show trucks and cars....

Re: Tint or no tint???

Since tinted windows were pretty common '73-'87 it's period correct so sure, why not.

And in Midland Texas..... definately!

Re: Tint or no tint???

In Tx, tint is mandatory, or so I thought. I have it on anything I drive regularly.

Seriously, I had flash backs of grade school and making farting noises on a loud speaker and giggling about it.

Re: Tint or no tint???

I suggest to go with the "LIMO TINT" cuz some brands make it dark on both sides and the "LIMO TINT" lets you see out but no light in or people to see in

Re: Tint or no tint???

I want to tint my windows... I heard tinting the windshield is illegal though. Is that true in Texas?

Re: Tint or no tint???

Your allowed to have your tint five inches from the top of the windshield down. Up north here it can be any darker then 15% but me and my buddies have 5% on everything we drive. Just roll down you windows if you see the cops!
