Exclamation Congratulations Longhorn Man!!!!

Just got off the phone with Andy....he's driving the longhorn!! Says he has some bugs to work out, but that's understandable.

So Andy...how's it feel to finally have it going?

DOOOOOOOOODDDDDD, it is friggen awsome. I am SO pumped right now!
While I was in fact driving it, I still wouldn't say it's on the road. Still have mega tuning to do, the brakes ned more work... i think I need a new booster...i hope not, they are a total b!tch to install.

Either way....it was great. It rode good, no bouncing or wobbles, no drifting, it seemed predictable. The ride it's self was stiff, but not too bad...at least, not untill I blew through an intersection at 40-ish....the rear tires hit the crown of the cross road, and if I hadn't been wearing my seat belt...I'd be rubbing a big 'ole bump on my noggin right now.

As I said to TJ...I'm happier than a puppy with 2 peck...
oops, that kind of talk goes on the dark side of the board.

BTW tj...you need to check out the dark side man....pretty bad @ss.

shortey...I actually did go out and drive it some more after I posted that!
I am so stoked it is unreal.
It feels WAY better than the GMC ever did.
And the lincoln....total junk in comparison.
Would you believe that the 35 year old truck's front end (which does need work) is tighter than the Town Car's front end?!?!

It's a dam* good feeling getting an old truck to drive on the road again. I remember when me and my Dad drove my truck for the first time in 8 years, it felt awesome because I was driving it.

It's been raining seemingly constantly.
I bolted on my good tires
The brakes aren't dialed in yet, I'd burn up the back shoes and not engage the front.

This caddy plant still needs tuning, but I'll tell you what though, I had a huge sh!t eatin grin on my face.
