As some of you may know I collect liscense plates I have the front wall in my garage at home full of plates. Lots of members here have given me a bunch and I have gotten some locally. Well this morning when I get to my office I find two plates the first one is an antique 70-71 florida plate and the second is a University of Miami plate. I think it was super cool of two of my coworkers to had gotten them for me.

Always nice to hear of someone giving a person something knowing he charishes the gift more than just anyone.. Great looking plates too,, I collect plates also and just a month ago my brother in law gave me his Purple Heart Plate from Nevada ,, I do know how you feel to get a special Plate from some one you know .. gp

dad just started putting ours on the workshop wall,only have like 6 so a far, we'll put any plates up there

I made a promise to my self 24 years ago and it was that I would never forget where I came from as I started at the bottom of the barrel and I said that I will always treat my peers with respect and never talk down to anyone. Hey Big Al, do you know what the first 3 letter/numerals are on the Florida tag you got? 24 is for the 24th county in size in Florida when the tag was stamped and the W is for the classification... I think it is for a trailer. When I lived in DeLand ( Volusia County ) I searched long and hard for an 8 GH tag which is for Volusia County 1/2 ton pickup. Still have it as matter of fact. Just some useless info you may or maynot want LOL.

I appreciate the info....I just had the idea of having a plate from each state on my garage wall sometime last year so I really do not know anything about plates...

Once people find out that you collect something seems like everyone wants to give you one. I started less than a year ago and so far so good. Let me know if you want a florida plate I can send you one.
