Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

I am definitely going 20 in the front because I don't want to have to relocate the battery and I am keeping my heater box for now but what should I do in the rear?

20's or 22's ??

Re: Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

For the longest, I was planning on running 22s. I even set up my bags for 22s in the rear. That is until I saw another 67 that was running a 20x10 or 20x12 wheel in the rear, with a deep lip and some fat meat of a tire out back. I was SOLD. Im now on the hunt for new wheels for mine, and even though everyone runs them I may go with polished coy's. My wife actually lokes them, and she doesnt hardly like ANY aftermarket wheels, so having her approval helps with the purchase. Besides, their new 20x12s with the 3.5 or 4 inch backspace fits the bill nicely, and comes in at $500 bucks each instead of double that for billet.

Staggered all the way! 20 and 22. Looks so much better. More of a muscle car stance if you like that look.

Thumbs up Re: Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

My vote is 20's on all four corners. Now the reason.

If you go with differant size wheels your side walls aren't the same size and to me it looks off. Checkout pictures of vehicles with differant wheels sizes and look close at the tire side wall. That sold me on my purchase.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Hands down...20's.

If someone tells you otherwise, they're rationalizing the mistake of 22's out back.

Re: Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

I recently had to make the same choice as you, I chose to go with 20's all around. I've had 20/22's before and I decided that I like the 20" combo more. I like to have a little more of a meaty tire on the rear, just looks better to me. With 22's I would have had to run a 31" tall rear tire to match the sidewall I want on my rear 20's at 29" tall.

Re: Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

I did 20s all around, if I was going to do it again Id do 19s front and 20s back. The larger wheels you use the more work it takes to sit low(removing inner fenders etc.)

I originally wanted a 20/20 combo, but I found a fantastic deal on some 20/22's and I'm okay with it.

its is already laying frame my fear is that the 22 in the rear will make the 20 in the front look small

Re: Poll...20's front but 20 or 22 rear?

I have 20/22. I wish i had a 20 out back and a little wider tire for the power that im running. Also the 22 in the rear are pushing me to put a bigger notch in to go just a bit lower to make up for the rake.

Either way will look cool
