Anybody running Gear Vendors OD with TH400?

I am kind of (yes they are expensive) considering adding a Gear Vendor OD to present TH400. Several questions. One, I assume a single shortened drive shaft. Anybody not go to a single shaft? Is it possible? Two, what rearend ratio did you go with? Anybody running the setup with less than a 3.73? Three, if you run a TH400/GV did you mount the shifter on the column, dash, or floor? Thanks.
