Auxiliary Battery Question

I am installing an OEM auxiliary battery system in my truck. My question is do I also need to upgrade the alternator from stock to high output to support the system?

Re: Auxiliary Battery Question

I would say the alt is a big part of that system.
Do you have a schematic for the system, from the year you are building?

Depends what you are running. Both batts at once or one at a time.....

All about how big the load is.
