Re: wheel options for 71

I think they were all steelies. Do you have 1/2, 3/4 or Blazer?

Use the search button and look for factory wheels or steel rims or wheels.

My 70 3/4 ton had 16.5's.

We need to know what you have to give an accurate answer. Then I can give you the options that were available. If you give me a SPID I can tell you how it was probably built. But to generalize steel wheels and hub caps would be most likely.

Re: wheel options for 71

this very helpful pic from another member will help. full wheel cover top center (1/2 ton only). The rest are the standard hub cap or optional chrome hub cap. 3/4 ton caps have a convex center bowtie (bulges out) and are approx 12" diameter, whereas 1/2 ton caps were concave (bulged inward) and approx 10.5" diameter. Rallies were not available on trucks of this vintage and highlander deluxe wheel covers were a 72-only item. Like tim said, if you share a little more info about your truck, someone can post exactly what would have come on it.

It is - and classicbowties gets the credit - it's been used time and again as a great reference. I couldn't remember who originally posted it - but then noticed it's written right on the pic!

Now hold on, that truck has two options!
It works out to about this:
Base CS10734 $2595.00
BX2 lower body moldings $43.05
531 conventional two-tone $18.85

Destination charge $70.25
----------------------------------
Total $2727.05
Plus that channel bumper and mirrors of course.

Re: wheel options for 71

And can you believe the PO ripped one of the options off just because it was missing one piece of molding. The rest of it was all bent up and thrown in the back of the truck.
