Which Size Is Better?

Does anyone have any suggestions on which size wheel and tire looks
the best on 67-72. I just can't make up my mind on 18'' or 20'' or should
I stay with the factory 15''........ Can anyone HELP me?

Its just a preference of your taste. You like what you like and thats just the way it is, Sometimes things will grow on you and then you will discover you like someting else.

i have 8" rally's on mine with 285/70/15 bfg radial t/a's it looks good even though the truck itself needs help, It still looks better than the stock 6" white wheels with 235/75/15's

around here if you can do it, have 2 sets, daily driver 15's, then play set 18's 0r 20's.

I really wanted 17 TT2's but the bank only allowed for the stock Rallys. They have really grown on me. Not sure if I will buy rims for this truck after all.

I am partial to 15s. I think rallys are the best, i have the 6 lug truck ones on my 67 and the corvette ones on my 62 belair. they are cheap and simple, and they will always be cool. I think the 20s fad will fade like the florecent lightning bolt stripes and horrible art of the 80s. you gotta do what you like though, that is what matters

I prefer 20's myself. Not too big and not too small.
If you are going with a static drop go with 20's all around. If you are bagging it, then 18/20 or 20/22 looks good too....

I too decided to go with the 15" combo. I have the corvette rally style with 10" in the rear and 7" up front. I figured the cost of burnouts will be cheaper this way I cannot afford to pay $400-$500 every 10k miles

IMO...I just can't see a wheel that looks bigger than the truck....I'd keep with the 15's............

I'm rather partial to the 15's but 17's are starting to look good.
my stepper will keep the mid 70's 15" chrome slots that are on it now. (period correct for my build)

A lot of it depends on the truck's length and bed style. If it is a driver, I would stick with 15's, but 16 or 17 aren't out of the question. If it is a weekend toy, then you need to figure what'll look good on there, and if there is going to be more drop on your ridr in the future...ect

I have 20's all the way around on mine. I think a few years ago 20's did not look as good as they do now. I think mostly because of all the 22's, 24's, and 26's around make the 20's not look as big as they used to be. But like Andy said if it's a driver get 15's(I'd prefer 17's) but if it's a toy get the big boys.

I agree my 275/60/15's are toast already after 4000 miles. Mainly from the 1-2 and 2-3 shift they tend to smoke.Oh well there goes another $200+Cdn. I could not own a truck with any bigger rims I would be totally broke.

Im with ya , 15in ralleys on everything , all freshly powdercoated , can't beat em . The guy i sold my 70 step to replaced the ralleys with 17in cragar ss , i must admit i liked them , 17in tt2's look good too. I'm too old school to go bigger than that.
