Wiper Problem

My wipers only work when holding the button in. If i have the knob in the slow or fast position it responds accordingly, but will only remain on so long as I keep the knob depressed. The previous owner wired in a seperate switch for the washer pump. Would replacing the wiper switch allow for the wipers to remain on when not depressed?

Thanks,

Re: Wiper Problem

I had a similar thing happen in my 67 nova. Replaced the switch, and instant fix.
