292 or 250

i have a 63 c10 , both motor mounts are in same place, the passenger side is the same as driver side, does that make it a 250?

230...I don't think they offered the 250 till 1966, or at least that's when it became standard. But if that's the case then the motor mounts are the same

measure the side plates on the passenger side of the motor. THe 292's plates are bigger than the 230/250 motor. I'll measure mine on the 292 and you can compare.

The 292 lifter plates are 6"x13" and the 230 lifter plates are 4"x13". all sizes are approx coz it's fricken cold and dark out there tonight. lol

easiest way to tell the 292 the passenger motor mount is in front of the fuel pump. the 250/230 the fuel pump is in front of the mount.
