First time rebuild 1986 GMC Sierra K15

I've decided to completely redo my truck and im looking for ideas and some help.

This is the first time i've ever done anything like this on this scale.

I want to put a stepside bed on it but im having one hell of a time finding one to replace my rusted out dual tank bed.

I want to take one of the tanks off and leave only one tank. After I get the bed done I need to replace the doors, too rusted on bottom to save. I want to replace them with doors that have power locks and windows. Is it going to be a big electrical hassel to do this?

I want to replace the sliding glass back window with a solid piece of glass. I need resources for where i can get that done.

The wheel wells might as well be gone so I have to replace those. Fenders are rusted but fixable I think.

Replacing the bench seat, I want bucket seats with a center console. Ideas on if that will work will be appreciated.

Air Ride system so i can lower it for the Ladies (hehe No offence ladies)

Dont even get me started on the engine. 305 V8 as old as the truck but only 86k miles on it. Wondering if I should take it in to get it rebuilt or replace it with a new engine just to have a clean slate to put on the billions of aftermarket parts like cold air intake, intake manifold, Holly carb, headers, exhaust all that kind of stuff.

Then paint. Glossy Black.
This truck will not be for show just for my personal pleasure (it already is but cant wait till im done then try to get me out of it). Your help is always appreciated thank you

I would recomend going create engine those 305 are made of weak parts besides the best part of the create is the warrenty especially if its a driver for a truck to have fun in.
