Did I score or not?????
I bought a complete (even has starter, HEI Distributor, water pump, accessories, etc.) 400 ci small block chevy today for 350.00. I was excited. Never been bored and very clean. No cracks. So what do you guys think????
My SWB is going to love it. |

that sounds like a real good deal for a 400. There are not many survivors around that haven't been desecrated for a 383 conversion

You will love the 400 I got one from my father in law that had been rebuilt and put it in my 86 SWB and i love it except for the mpg

When my '62 belonged to my brother, he had a 400 in it for awhile. That thing kicked A$$! With posi, it would smoke the tires across and entire 4-lane street intersection... the only thing about it is it ran a little hot...
