X or H pipe?

I got a SWB lowered about 8 inches in the rear and was wondering what you fellas do on your trucks, X or H pipe? Doesn't seem like much room to squeeze an X pipe under there but I want that sound that comes with X pipe. Pics help a lot
Thanks

Re: X or H pipe?

i have a h on my camaro and it kinda makes the note a lil' mushy.

i considered a h on my 67 but thinking about it and listening to the kids true duals on his 67
i decided the undisturbed note from each bank just sounds better and helps pin point problems.

never had a x.....of course just my opinion

Re: X or H pipe?

Depending on your engine and cam it will make a difference. LS motor Sounds better with an X pipe. ....SBC motor H pipe. I installed an H. Didn't care for the motor boat sound at idle. Not sue if it was the mild cam or what, but I took it off, back to true duals.
