Can you tell the difference in 1/2 to coil springs and 3/4 springs - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 3/4 ton by the vin numbers. But it has been converted to a 5 lug front and back. Will it hurt anything to keep it a five lug and put 3/4 ton coil springs front and back. I have a 71 chevy

Should be fine.
What is your reason for adding the 3/4-ton coils springs?
